Finished the carburettors
With Keith running I was tempted to leave the carbs but with a few flat spots and bogging down still I bit the bullet and took them apart.
I forgot to get pictures whilst cleaning them but there was nothing too bad. A few ports/passages needed cleaning out and may have cleared over time with fuel flowing but I think it was worth doing. Keith has his roar back now, idling well and throttles up nicely.
I got away without a rebuild kit, I think, which is a relief since the MOT is booked for Tuesday (2 days time)!!!! So I'll enjoy this season and use the whole of next winter to rebuild properly.
